Craigmore

Argyll and Bute

An eastern extension of Rothesay on the east coast of the Isle of Bute, Craigmore strung out along the A844 road as it rounds Bogany Point, a mile (1.8 km) east northeast of the town centre. Substantial detached houses were built along the shore in Victorian times, but also a short distance inland on the raised beach.
