A location on the southern shore of Loch Creran in N Argyll and Bute, South Creagan lies 11 miles (18 km) northeast of Oban. A ferry once crossed the narrows between South Creagan and Creagan. A railway viaduct was built here in 1903 and this was reconstructed as a road bridge in 1999.
