Roscobie

Fife

A location in SW Fife, Roscobie lies to the northeast of the Roscobie Hills and comprises a farm and Roscobie Reservoir. Between the two is the former Roscobie Quarry, where a 1.2-ha (3-acre) area is designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) because of its geological interest, owing to the exposure of limestone formed of algal mounds, of Dinantian (Lower Carboniferous) age, overlain by muddy deltaic deposits.

To the south is Lathalmond, a former Royal Navy Stores Depot that is now home to the Scottish Vintage Bus Museum.
