Aonach Beag

Aonach Beag (Gaelic, "little ridge") although higher than its neighbour Aonach Mor, is named the little ridge owing to its smaller bulk size. Located in Lochaber, Highland Council Area, it rises to a height of 1234m (4049 feet) to the east of Ben Nevis. Aonach Beag is connected to Carn Mor Dearg by a high bealach or pass at 830m (2723 feet), its summit ridge running east to west.
