Aonach Mor

Aonach Mor (Gaelic, "big broad ridge") although lower than its neighbour Aonach Beag, is named the big ridge owing to its greater bulk size. Located in Lochaber, to the east of Ben Nevis it rises to a height of 1221m (4006 feet) and its summit ridge is long and flat with steep slopes, in particular to the east. Aonach Mor is connected to Aonach Beag by a high bealach or pass at 1050m (3445 feet).
