A small uninhabited rocky island lying off the north coast of the Walls Peninsula in W Shetland, The Heag is located immediately to the south southwest of Isle of West Burrafirth, separated by Heag Sound, a half-mile (1 km) north of the mouth of West Burra Firth. There is an island of the same name located 2 miles (3 km) to the east northeast.
