A lofty summit which represents one of the Ladder Hills in SE Moray, Letterach rises to 788m (2585 feet) close to the border with Aberdeenshire, 2½ miles (4 km) east of Chapeltown of Glenlivet. This hill has a relatively flat top and steep western slopes.
