A shallow freshwater loch situated just behind the dune systems of Sandwood Bay in the North West Highlands, Sandwood Loch lies 5 miles (8 km) north of Kinlochbervie. It lies on the northeastern boundary of the Sandwood Estate, owned by the John Muir Trust.
