Troup House School

A small residential establishment for disturbed children, the Troup House School occupies a country house which is set amongst 19.5 ha (48 acres) for woodland and paddocks, a mile (1.5 km) west of Pennan and 2 miles (3 km) of Gardenstown in N Aberdeenshire. Providing care and support for young people aged 8-16, the school opened in 2006. Troup House was built in 1772 and was the seat of the Garden family.
