A modest hill somewhat denuded by a quarry, Baggage Knowe rises to approximately 135m (442 feet) a mile (1.5 km) northeast of Kilsyth and 1¼ miles (2 km) west of Banton in North Lanarkshire. Banton Loch and the site of the Battle of Kilsyth lie a half-mile (1 km) to the southeast.
