A tract of land in Central Moray, the Daugh of Kinermony lies 2 miles (3 km) southwest of Aberlour and 5½ miles (9 km) west of Dufftown. The unusual word daugh comes from the term davoch which is an old Scots areal unit of land. It appears exclusively in place-names lying in a small area centred on the Aberdeenshire-Moray border.
