A stream principally of North Lanarkshire, Lingore Linn rises on the edge of opencast workings 1¼ miles (2 km) south southeast of Stane and flows east northeast to become a headstream of the Breich Water on the boundary of West Lothian, a quarter-mile (0.5 km) east of West Badallan, having completed a course of 2½ miles (4 km).
