A modest summit within the Cleish Hills of S Perth and Kinross, Dummiefarline rises to around 305m (1001 feet), a mile (1.5 km) south southwest of the settlement of Cleish. Its summit is surrounded by plantation forestry on three side, but provides a commanding view particularly to the east over Kinross-shire. A prominent vitrified hill-fort occupies the summit, with walls 3.5m (10 feet) in thickness although now rather denuded.
