Loch Builg

A loch in the Grampian Mountains, Loch Builg lies between the valleys of the River Gairn and the upper River Avon. The Builg Burn flows northwards from the loch to meet the Avon near Inchrory. It has a depth of 10-20m (33-66 feet). Queen Victoria and Prince Albert visited on an outing from Balmoral Castle on 5th September 1860.
