Loch Glow

A reservoir in the Cleish Hills, Loch Glow lies 5 miles (8 km) north of Dunfermline in Fife but with the border with Perth & Kinross running along its northern shore. The loch is ¾ mile (1.2 km) in length and it has a small earth embankment dam at its eastern end. Covering an area of 50.4 ha (124 acres), it is operated by Scottish Water for the supply of drinking-water. The reservoir supports a recreational fishery for brown and rainbow trout managed by the Civil Service Angling Association.
