Sron Mallanach


(Sròn Mallanach)

An elongated hill located to the southeast of Craggan Hill in Argyll and Bute, the forested summit of Sron Mallanach lies between the foot of Glen Mallach and Loch Long and reaches a height of 268m (879 feet). The word 'Sron' is Gaelic, meaning 'nose'. The abandoned farming settlement of Stronmallanach lies on its southwestern slopes.
