Kelton Hill

A wooded summit in S Dumfries and Galloway, Kelton Hill rises to 121m (396 feet) at the southwestern end of Carlingwark Loch, 1¼ miles (2 km) south southwest of Castle Douglas. The hill is used as part of the designed landscape around Threave House, and gives its name to the hamlet of Kelton Hill (also known as Rhonehouse) that is located a half-mile (1 km) to the southwest. Keltonhill Farm lies between.
