The highest of the Crosbie Hills in North Ayrshire, Caldron Hill rises to 332m (1089 feet) 2¼ miles (3.5 km) northeast of West Kilbride and 2¾ miles (4.5 km) south southeast of Fairlie. Immediately to the southeast is the Little Caldron (320m / 1050 feet), and the summits of both are marked by ancient cairns.
