Lying to the southeast of the Crosbie Hills in North Ayrshire, Glenton Hill rises to 262m (859 feet) 2¼ miles (3.5 km) east northeast of West Kilbride and 2 miles (5 km) west of Dalry. The similarly named Glentane Hill is located 1½ miles (2.3 km) to the northwest.
