A drying channel between the Ross of Mull and the island of Erraid in the Inner Hebrides, the Erraid Sound opens to form the Bagh a' Chnoic Mhaoileanaich to the south. At its narrowest it is just 60m (200 feet) in width and its white sands are easily crossed on foot except at the highest of tides.
