Loch nan Cadhan

A small and shallow loch in the E of the island of Islay in Argyll and Bute, Loch nan Cadhan is situated a quarter-mile (0.4 km) north of Loch Ballygrant and a mile (1.8 km) east southeast of Loch Finlaggan, on the opposite side of the A846 road. It extends to 5.8 ha (14.3 acres) and includes two wooded islets set close to the shore, which may have been crannogs. The loch provides a recreational fishery.
