The smaller of a pair of shallow lochans in the SE coast of the island of Islay in Argyll and Bute, Loch nan Diol lies to the west of Loch nan Digl, into which it flows, 1½ miles (2.5 km) northeast of Ardbeg. It extends to 0.8 ha / 1.9 acres.
