A lochan surrounded by plantation forest in the northeast of Islay in the Inner Hebrides, Loch Airigh nan Caisteal extends to 1.5 ha / 3.6 acres, 3 miles (5 km) west of Port Askaig. It drains to the north thorough a short stream which falls into the Abhainn Airigh nan Caisteal.
