Uisge Fuar

A stream in the southeast of the island of Islay in the Inner Hebrides, Uisge Fuar (meaning 'cold water' in Gaelic) rises on the southeastern slopes of Maol Mheadhoin, 3 miles (5 km) east of Glenegedale. It curves to the south of that hill and follows a generally westward course to join with the Caol Abhainn to form the Glenegedale River. Uisge Fuar is 3 miles / 4.9 km in length.
