One of a group of small lochs in the Inverness district of Highland Council Area, Loch Kemp lies at an altitude of 225m (738 feet) above Loch Ness, on its steeply-sloping southern shore, a half-mile (0.8 km) northwest of Loch Knockie and 2 miles (3 km) southeast of Invermoriston.
