The Tomintoul Museum lies in the village square of Tomintoul (Moray) in the uplands of Moray. It provides information on the social history of Tomintoul and Glenlivet, together with displays on the natural history of the area, lying on the edge of the Cairngorm mountains. A recreated blacksmith's workshop and crofter's kitchen give an insight into the daily life of the people of the area in the early 19th C.
