Riven Loch

A tiny lochan extending to just 0.3 ha / 0.75 acres in North Lanarkshire, Riven Loch is located a quarter-mile (0.5 km) south southeast of Salsburgh. Along with the surrounding Riven Loch Moss, the lochan is designated as a Site of Importance for Nature Conservation, representing a valuable blanket bog vegetation community.
