Grandtully Castle

Grandtully Castle is located 1½ miles (2.5 km) southwest of the settlement of Grandtully in Perth and Kinross. A former stronghold of the Stewarts, this Z-plan castle dates from the 15th century with later additions and comprises three storeys and a garret. The castle was abandoned in the 19th century, but restored and re-occupied in the 1920s.

In the early 1860s the estate was rented by Duleep Singh, the last Maharaja of the Punjab and known as the Black Prince of Perthshire, who had previously lived at nearby Castle Menzies.
