The Sneck

A narrow and rocky mountain ridge in the Central Grampians, The Sneck forms part of the ridge which connects Beinn a' Bhuird to Ben Avon, 7 miles (11 km) north northwest of Braemar. It reaches 986m (3234 feet) and descends steeply into Garbh Choire and the valley of Slochd Mor to the north, while falling less steeply to the head of Glen Quoich to the south.
