A rocky drying islet at the shallow waters at the entrance to Loch Laich in Argyll and Bute, Eilean an Stalcaire is located a quarter-mile (0.5 km) west of Portnacroish. Extending to only 0.15 ha (0.4 acres), the island is the site of Castle Stalker, but has no permanent population recorded (2011).
