West Lothian College

A further education college located in Almondvale in the centre of Livingston. It offers vocational and non-vocational courses to those aged 16 and over in a wide range of subjects, together with apprenticeships combining work and study, and courses for school pupils through a college-schools partnership. The College was established in Bathgate in 1965 and moved to Livingston in 2001. In 2018, there were 8095 students, 28% on full-time courses and 72% undertaking part-time study, and 360 staff. There is an active Student Association.

Subjects available for study include Accounting & Finance, Art and Design, Beauty Therapy, Business & Management, Computing, Construction & Civil Engineering, Creative Industries, Engineering, English, Event Management, Hairdressing, Health & Social Care, Maths, Motor Mechanics, Nursing, Photography, Professional Cookery, Sciences, Social Sciences, Sport & Fitness and Travel & Tourism.

The College boasts the largest indoor sports hall in West Lothian, together with sports facilities and a library. A restaurant and beauty salon, both used to train students, are open to the public.
