A rocky summit in the southwest of the island of Iona, Maol nan Uan rises to 70m (230 feet) to the west of Loch Staoineig and 1¼ miles (2 km) southwest of Sligneach. The name does not appear on Ordnance Survey maps, but does appear on Ritchie's sketch map of the island dating from 1930.
