A hamlet with an inn in Moray, Knockandhu lies on the road from Tomintoul to Dufftown, 8 miles (5 km) northeast of Tomintoul. A road from here leads into the Braes of Glenlivet towards the settlement of Chapeltown and the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour.
