A small hamlet in the Cunninghame district of North Ayrshire, close to the border with East Ayrshire, Auchentiber lies on the A736 road, 3 miles (5 km) west of Stewarton and a similar distance southwest of Dunlop. Auchentiber Moss lies to the northeast.
