The Raasay Ferry Terminal at Sconser

A settlement on the island of Skye in the Inner Hebrides, Sconser lies on the south side of Loch Sligachan, 11 miles (18 km) northwest of Broadford. Once an important staging post in the mail service, Sconser has been the main ferry link with Raasay since 1976. John Mackenzie of Sconser (1856 - 1933) was an early mountain guide noted for his expert knowledge of the Cuillin.
