Also known as Muirhead of Liff, this dormitory village lies on the northwestern outskirts of the Dundee in Angus Council Area. Camperdown Park is close by. Birkhill lies adjacent to the east and Backmuir of Liff lies just to the northwest. The Muirhead and Birkhill Millennium Village Hall is located on the Coupar Angus Road (A 923) between the two settlements. Muirhead benefits from a Police Station and a church remains, although it is now united with Lundie.
