Portessie

Situated on the Moray Firth coast, Portessie is one of a number of old fishing villages that lie on a three-mile stretch of shoreline to the east of Buckie. Originally known as Rottinslough, it was established as a fishing station in 1727. Most of its cottages date from the 19th Century.
