Maryburgh

Perth and Kinross

A village of southern Perth and Kinross, Maryburgh lies near the border with Fife, a mile (1.5 km) north of Kelty. It was laid out as a planned estate and mining village in the 1730s by the architect William Adam of Blairadam, but never completed. It takes its name from Adam's wife Mary.
