A village in Strathspey, Marypark lies 4 miles (6 km) southwest of (Charlestown of) Aberlour in the valley of the River Spey. To the east is Glenfarclas Distillery which was founded by Robert Hay in 1836. Ben Rinnes rise to the southeast.
