A scattered rural community in Moray, Milltown of Edinvillie, or 'the Milltown', lies on the Lour Burn, 2 miles (3 km) south of (Charlestown of) Aberlour. The ruins of an old mill lie on the Lour Burn and the focal points of the village are its primary school and community hall. Agriculture, building contractors and the Benrinnes and Glenallachie distilleries offer employment in the area.
