A remote location in the southeast of the Oa peninsula in the S of the island of Islay, Argyll and Bute, Ineraval (or Inerval) is situated 1¼ miles (2 km) southeast of Coillabus and 3 miles (5 km) southwest of Port Ellen. This was once a settlement with a row of buildings, but it now lies abandoned except for a 19th C. farmhouse that has been modernised and is let as holiday accommodation. The name is incorrectly recorded as 'Inveraval' on the Ordnance Survey 1:25,000-scale map of 2020.
