A locality centred on the 19th-century Gask House in Central Perth and Kinross, to the north of the River Earn, 5 miles (8 km) northeast of Auchterarder and 8 miles (13 km) east southeast of Crieff. The settlement of Trinity Gask lies to the west and Findo Gask to the northeast, while there are farms at Hilton of Gask, Innergask and Mill of Gask.
The celebrated lyricist Carolina Oliphant (1766 - 1845), later Lady Nairne, was born at Gask. Amongst her most famous songs were The Laird o' Cockpen, Charlie is my darling and Will ye no come back again.
The Gask Ridge is a significant geographical feature which runs from west to east through the area. A Roman road links a series of Roman signal stations along the crest of the ridge and the remains of a significant marching camp lie close to Gask House.
