Ardoe

Aberdeenshire

A location in Aberdeenshire, Ardoe lies on the south bank of the River Dee, which represents the boundary with Aberdeen City, a half-mile south of Cults. Ardoe House was built in 1878 and is now a hotel. There are farms at Mid Ardoe and Easter Ardoe, while the flat-lying Haugh of Ardoe has been eroded by the river leaving St Devenick's Bridge isolated from the south.
