A pimple of a summit which is located on the northeastern slopes of the plateau which comprises the Ladder Hills of SE Moray, Round Hill rises to 668m (2191 feet) 5½ miles (9 km) east of Knockandhu. The boundary of the Cairngorms National Park bisects this hill.
