A peak in the extreme S of Moray, Stob Bac an Fhurain represents the northernmost summit of the Ben Avon massif, rising to 1076m (3530 feet) a mile (1.5 km) north northeast of Leabaidh an Daimh Bhuidhe and 8 miles (13 km) north of Braemar.
