Darmead Linn

A tributary of the Breich Water, Darmead Linn forms as headstreams on the northern slopes of Hare Hill and Black Law on the boundary of North Lanarkshire, South Lanarkshire and West Lothian. It flows northeast forming the boundary between North Lanarkshire and West Lothian for a mile (1.5 km) before cutting into West Lothian and then joining the Kitchen Linn and Lingore Linn on the border between the same two council areas to become the Breich Water, having completed a course of 2½ miles (4 km).
