A summit of Moffat Dale in NE Dumfries and Galloway, Craigieburn Hill rises to a height of 294m (964 feet) within the Craigieburn Forest, a miles (1.5 km) northeast of Craigieburn and 2 miles (3.2 km) east northeast of Moffat. Waymarked trails offer fine views of the surrounding countryside.
