Loch a' Chaorainn

Loch a' Chaorainn is a little lochan in the N of Islay in the Inner Hebrides. It is situated 1¼ miles (2 km) northwest of Loch Finlaggan and 3¾ miles (6 km) west of Port Askaig. It extends to only 0.95 ha (2.3 acres) and contains several small islands. Loch a' Chaorainn receives a stream from Lochan an Dubhaich in the north and casts off the Allt Loch a' Chaorainn to the southwest
