Our Lady of Good Aid Cathedral, Motherwell

A Roman Catholic diocese established in 1947, by division of the ancient Archdiocese of Glasgow, the Diocese of Motherwell includes 74 parishes and extends from Easterhouse (Glasgow), Baillieston, Craigend and Garthamlock to include all of South Lanarkshire and much of North Lanarkshire, including the Pilgrimage Centre at Carfin.

With an estimated population of 165,000 adherents, its cathedral is Our Lady of Good Aid in Motherwell.
