Glen Builg

Glen Builg is a modest valley which extend for 3 miles (5 km) to link Glen Avon in Moray with Glen Gairn in Aberdeenshire. Loch Builg lies at its southern end. Queen Victoria sketched Glen Builg while visiting on a day-trip from Balmoral Castle on 21st August 1860. This sketch remains in the Royal Collection.
